Great Leighs will start racing soon, and tickets for the first full public meeting on May 28-29 will be on sale shortly.

Chelmsford’s brand new track pledges to offer a fresh approach to old and new race-goers alike, and is looking forward to delivering a long-awaited “destination” racecourse to Essex.

Great Leighs is not just the UK's first new racecourse in 80 years. With floodlights, a state-of-the-art Polytrack circuit and facilities designed around the customer, when fully operational they will race all year round, day and night. Whether you come with friends or as a guest in the hospitality areas, you can “make a day of it,” staying on after racing in our bars, club and restaurants.
